The afternoon carried them to the Reflecting Pool with the Washington Monument rising behind them, and finally to the Lincoln Memorial, where they wandered into the marble hall small against the grand marble structure.

Mya wore a long-sleeve embroidered lace gown with a corset back and a flowing skirt, finished with a veil scattered with pearls and delicate floral drop earrings. William was sharp in a charcoal suit with a blush tie to match the cherry blossoms. The details elevated the day. Every one of them chosen with care.
